Ivory Levert
Ivory Levert is a community leader, certified yoga guide and wellness advocate. Mother, spouse, sister and friend are a few other titles that guide her framework and life philosophy.
As a 500 hr RYT certified yoga guide, Ivory specializes in teaching vinyasa, restorative and pre/postnatal yoga through a trauma-informed lens. She infuses meditation, breathwork, and mindful movement through her curated yoga classes, series, workshops and retreats.
Deeply passionate about the unique needs and experiences of women and people of color, Ivory also founded and leads nonprofit organizations Black Women In Nature and Plant The Power. Through this work, she collaboratively designs programming that center holistic well-being, liberation and environmental awareness.
In her free time, you can catch Ivory dancing, enjoying a nature walk/run, singing karaoke, eating some tasty vegan eats, diving into a good book and quoting Maya Angelou! Ivory is inspired by the quote; “when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously allow others to do the same”, and strives to be a light for herself and others in all aspects of her life.
