Angela Mitchell
Angela Mitchell is a health and wellness advocate, former professional bodybuilding competitor and 2x certified communicator and professional facilitator, who specializes in empowering, motivating and creating safe spaces for Black women to reclaim their power, reconnect with their authentic selves, and maximize their potential.
After losing her brother to Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in 2006, an incurable neurodegenerative disease that erodes the ability to move, breathe and ultimately live, she realized that moving one’s body is a privilege that is often taken for granted. This inspired her to begin leading and encouraging others to adopt a more active lifestyle.
Years later, in 2019, while undergoing a painful life transition, she found healing and restoration through nature. This, coupled with her passion for active living, fueled her desire to create a space for women to become more active while reaping the healing benefits of nature.
