REIMAGINING OUR STORIES

REIMAGINING OUR STORIES

A safe space for Black women to connect, release and dream in nature

BLACK WOMEN IN NATURE

If there is a book that you want to read, but it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it.

TONI MORRISON

As children, we often allow our imagination to run free.

We dream. We believe.
We show up fully.

Somewhere along the way, the complexities and responsibilities of life into adulthood can silence the adventurer within us.

What would happen if we invited ourselves to tap back into that childlike energy? What might it feel like to become the author of our lives and REIMAGINE our stories? To recreate what’s possible for our lives?

Join Black Women In Nature in Hocking Hills, Ohio on October 6th–8th for a three-day retreat engaging in sisterhood, relaxation, and mindful movement while embraced in the beauty of Mother Nature.

Who is Black Women In Nature?

Black Women In Nature was founded in 2020 to cultivate space for Black women to engage in mindful movement, authentic sisterhood and environmental awareness in the outdoors of Columbus, OH. Co-Founders Ivory Levert and Angela Mitchell, along with the Black Women In Nature ambassadors curate monthly gatherings + retreats in nature that include yoga, meditation, hiking and reflective dialogue.

WE DREAM. WE BELIEVE. WE SHOW UP FULLY.
